Gym Red Huarache First Look

Premium Huarache’s offer us that added touch of luxury such as real leather overlay rather than synthetic.

When we featured the Squadron Blue PRM Huarache we announced they were part of a duo pack with a red edition to come.

In this article we take a first look at the sister part of the pack.

Nike Air Huarache PRM “Black/Gym Red/Gym Red”

As per the blue edition of the pack this silhouette features a real leather overlay but is highlighted by a new house colour of Gym Red.

The premium leather offers a touch of class to the shoe especially in a new red colour as apposed to the previous Varsity.

The front of the shoe features the same new mesh as its counterpart.

A tightly woven textile is what the vamp uses and is mirrored on the toebox in an almost fiberglass look.

A lighter yet metallic shade of the Gym Red features on the tongue and collar of the Huarache behind the flat lace section.

Red and Black create a logo patch to sit on the tongue and follow the whole colour scheme of the entire shoe.

Jet Black is used on the lining to enhance the main colour part and does so nicely.

As you could of guessed the mid-sole unit is also running a black colour scheme but works well with the sneaker.

Round the back of the shoe we see the heel cage and strap also rocking the red colour and brings an added depth to the Huarache.

The out-sole bottoms the shoe neatly in black and with an added splash of colour on the Nike text.

As mentioned this edition runs in a pack with the Squadron Blue and is an exact clone apart from the 1 colour change.

Premium Huarache’s do command a slightly higher price tag than the standard Run’s so bear this in mind but they are worth every penny.

This colourway has already dropped in the US via Nike meaning we should be getting them on this side of the water soon enough.
