New York-based RISE teams up with PUMA to produce a brand new take on the Blaze of Glory model to inspire talk around the topic of HIV and AIDS. RISE and PUMA wish to reduce the stigma associated with the two conditions, expecially considering how advances in medicine mean that they can be handled and maintained a lot better that people think.
The shoe is dressed in a vibrant red and black colourway which look awesome. The pair sit on top of a black speckled midsole and have thick red laces. Branding is found on the tongue and heel while custom footbeds lie inside the shoe.
RISE and PUMA will also make charitable donations of $15,000 to amFAR, who conduct research on HIV and AIDS.
