The most recent new take on a famous Huarache silhouette is that of the Ultra range.
Initially dropped as a women’s run, the Ultra featured some out-there colourways and even a jacquard rendition.
However, the team were on the button as usual and got wind of the men’s versions set to drop in 4 colourways, 3 of which we already featured.
Nike Air Huarache Run Ultra “Cool Grey/White/Black”
The last drop is a seriously strong colour pack is that of another 2015 colourway remastered for 2016.
Cool Grey sets the tone and was chosen by Nike to provide an uplift to a previously seen option just like the rest of the pack.
That futuristic clean formed overlay although chunky in design, looks to be a promising feature especially in the Cool Grey colour.
A variance main colour can be found at the front of the Ultra where a metallic look is seen on the vamp as per the other 3 designs.
Darker shades of Grey can be found on the sock unit which incorporates the whole tongue/collar and lining of the Huarache.
Still named Cool Grey, the tone variance is due to the material used and on this specific colourway creates a multi-tonal shade.
Slimmed down features are a must on the men’s Ultra’s, and two key parts that address this are the thin lace section and sleek mid-sole unit.
Support is key to a Huarache model and Nike’s famous outer heel cage and strap system is still in place on this one.
A centred look from the back shows all the Cool Grey tones in a layered effect sat on top of the perfectly white mid-sole.
Black features on the Nike rubber text but does play an important part in the overall colour scheme.
