A mono-looking sneaker is an insanely popular choice among many of us, mainly because of their simplicity and impact.
Two massive mono-looks were bought onto the Huarache silhouette earlier this year, and Nike have continued the theme with many other designs.
Navy being a prime choice colourway for many sneakers meant it was inevitable that Nike give us another offering.
Nike Air Max 1 Ultra Moire “Midnight Navy/Midnight Navy – Black”
The Air Max 1 Ultra Moire has become an iconic member of the Air Max family and no doubt mainly because of the reflect offerings.
3M reflect is what makes all the Moire silhouettes stand out from the crowd and creates a wow factor, which upon first look is unnoticeable.
A mono look is what greets us, and although black is in the colourway, it only really appears on the tongue logo and heel text.
Midnight Navy is the colour choice to create the one-piece look and does the shoe justice on the materials used.
The Midnight Navy colour scheme creates different shades on various parts of the overlay.
Lighter shades feature on the wave panel along with the Nike Swoosh which are where we find the 3M accents.
A standard feature of a Moire Air Max is the breathe holes. These blend into the dark upper rather than being in your face. and noticeable.
The dark navy option continues into the lace section and lining to make the most of a mono design.
The mid and out-sole unit are also tricked out in the deep Midnight Navy which houses the navy Air unit.
The Ultra Moire takes on a whole new persona under a flash of light and absolutely smashes the game with the body reflecting.
On foot shots show that this edition will be as strong as its previous counterparts and we anticipate the release to be a big one.
