Spike Lee’s partnership with Jordan Brand goes back a long way. All the way back to the shoe’s roots when Lee helped create an advert for the sneaker back in the day. Jordan Brand are celebrating their 30th anniversary this year and have been bringing back retro models of classics, and, like this new pair, been creating entirely new styles altogether.
This brand new model is dressed in a deep royal and citrus and is crafted from synthetic overlays and layered mesh. An image of Spike appears on the lace locks while large “Spike Forty” is written on the soles in orange.
The colours used on this shoe are inspired by the New York Knicks and the look is finished off with a set of matching laces.
