When we told you about the upcoming Huarache Ultra for men, the response was amazing.
Everyone loved the new take on an already new and updated model, but this time it’s in a men’s sizing.
Originally scheduled to drop in February, Nike seemed to have jumped the gun with one of the colourways when these dropped momentarily last night so here’s an official look.

Simply put, this silhouette is the start of the future for the Huarache model.
Although we all love the classic Run/Le versions and are without a doubt one of the biggest selling sneakers out there, Nike guesses it’s time to move forward.
A sleek look all the way around warrants the futuristic tag these will hold in any of the upcoming colourways.
This colourway draws inspiration from one of the OG versions from back in the day Purple Punch.
The main body or overlay of the shoe runs a Wolf Grey colour option but in a more die cut look as opposed to the well padded women’s version.
The Wolf Grey also appears on the toe guard at the front of the Huarache which blends effortless into the vamp.
First Purple hits come from the front with an all new woven vamp very tight in design and reflective tones are given off.
A black tongue section traces up the front behind a slimmed down black rope lace section.
Sat on top of the tongue we find a black logo patch accented by the Hyper Violet colour and the first of two loop sections for easy on access.
At the side the overlay sports an off white colour but works well with the tonal fades behind.
Although black sets the trend for the tongue, it neatly blends into the purple/pink colour of Hyper Violet at the rear.
The back of the shoe sees a familiar black heel cage unit for support along with the elasticated strap first introduced on the woman’s Ultra range along with the second access loop.
However one difference is that the strap text is no print or woven in but is in fact its own piece in rubber to stand out in the Wolf colour.
The slimmed down mid-sole unit also features on this design but without the popcorn effect and also is decked out in white.
An out-sole unit of white is also taken from the woman’s design as it features a two tine option with black hitting the front.
