We have yet another exciting collaboration with Saucony Original, this time from Big Apple based, West NYC. This awesome pair celebrates the long standing tradition of saltwater fishing with design elements taking inspiration from fishing vessels and tools. The West NYC X Saucony Shadow 90 Saltwater Fisherman is set to release in the next few days and we think it’s going to be another hugely successful collaboration for the brand.
The upper features carbon fibre detailing to the heel panel, paying homage to the strong materials used for fishing rods. On the same theme, an off white heel bumper represents the discoloured undercarriage of a fishing vessel whilst the griptape material on the toe and heel is often found on boats.
To finish this pair, a splash of colour is provided on the outsole, inner lining and side panels. This vibrant pink and purple has been used to represent the fishing lures that are used in the early morning.

The West NYC X Saucony Shadow 90 Saltwater Fisherman is scheduled to release on the 10th October, retailing at £109.
