Back in 2014, a group of UK sneakerheads travelled to Buenos Aires in search of a legendary shop that was said to stock a jaw dropping amount of vintage and dead stock Adidas sneaks. The trip became the inspiration behind a piece of branded content entitled ‘Sole Searching in South America’. Adidas fanatics including Stone Roses front man, Ian Brown met the store’s owner, Carlos to discover how this collection had gone unknown for so many years. In celebration of this collector and owner, the Adidas Originals x Spezial New York SPZL was born.
A vintage running sneak fresh from 1970 and one of the highlight pairs to found in the shop, these have become Carlos’s signature shoe. The pack will also include another highly anticipated shoe and two graphic tees. For now, we’re more than excited with this upcoming release that’s sure to be a favourite with fan’s of the retro look.
Adidas Originals x Spezial New York SPZL Release Date
The Adidas Originals x Spezial New York SPZL is scheduled to release on 3rd December and the price tag is yet to be announced.
