Hailing from California, designers BAIT put their creativity to the test on ASICS’s legendary Gel Lyte III silhouette. The model celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and the BAIT x ASICS Gel Lyte III Nightmare is next silhouette to release to honour the milestone. Let’s take a last look at these sick sneakers before they release tomorrow.
The shoe is made from a blend of Tilapia skin suede and faux-reptile suede. The effect is luxurious, exotic and very eye catching. The vamp and sidewalls are adorned with Japanese full grain leather to give the shoes and even more premium quality finish.
As with any Gel Lyte III, the pair features a split tongue design and has black and silver wire mesh branding on the sidewalls. The sneakers sit on top of a translucent sole and the look is finished off with a set of black rope laces.
