We recently gave you a first look at two new Mono Huarache’s in the form of Midnight Blue and Varsity Red.
First impressions and catalogue images showed us an entire leather silhouette which got us all excited.
Unfortunately with the international drop a few days ago, a slight style change is what awaits and we will feature both again.
Nike Air Huarache Run “Midnight Blue/Navy”
This live imagery shows us the key change in the sneaker and that being the vamp/toe box at the front.
A tight woven mesh is now in place whereas the catalogue images showed the leather vamp.
The essence of the Mono Huarache has not been lost in this pair, and the Midnight Blue run follows the same traits as the Blue Legends.
A true blue-out is what decks the entire shoe from top to-bottom and will no doubt make a stance on foot.
Obviously with a mono colourway, the blue continues on the lining as well as the overlay.
No other colours appear anywhere on the shoe, not even on the logo patch which is a rare look from Nike.
At the rear of the shoe we see the blue theme continue, but also get a glimpse of the different shades in use.
The different materials from textile to rubber give light and dark tones to the blue variances.
As mentioned both of the new Mono’s will feature a mesh vamp and we will show an in hand look at the Varsity Red soon.
Both colourways are due in the UK very soon and if the international retailers are anything to go by, they will sell out quick.
Atmos were the first to drop the pack and sold out immediately.
