For the past 11 years, Nike designer Eric Avar and Kobe Bryant have been working together to create the superstar’s signature range of sneakers. With each shoe, new technical developments have been introduced to make it better performing than the last pair.
Recently Nike unveiled Kobe’s last ever model dubbed the Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel . The pair features a stronger iteration of Nike Flyknitand pays homage the Greek god Achilles and Bryant’s own surgery on this area.
The shoe are dressed in a fiery red colourway with gold and black accents found on the tongue, sidewall and heel. The pair sit on top of an icy outsole while the look is finished off with a set of black laces.
Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel Release Date
The Nike Kobe 11 Achilles Heel is scheduled to release on 9th January although we are still waiting on an official price tag. In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media pages for updates and release reminders for these awesome pair of sneakers.
