Inspired by one of North America’s great cities,  the Adidas Consortium X Nice Kicks NMD Runner arrives in a stand out colorway guaranteed to impress. This time we see the Consrotium tour stop at San Francisco where they join forces with local sneaker store, Nick Kicks. The retailer which has somewhat of a cult following is celebrating their 10th anniversary and what better way to commemorate the event that with a legendary collaboration.

Nice Kicks chose to take the subtle and understated design of the NMD and turn it one its head. This pair features a tie dye esque print across much of its upper which pays homage to the cities much loved 1960s rock era. It may be an eye catching pattern but the sneaks remains subtle with the use of a dark red and black colourway.

This palette is also a celebration of one of the cities major historic landmarks, the China Town neighbourhood. In an area famed for it’s progressive and free spirited attitude, the shoe matches this theme perfectly. To complete the look, the pair sits on the customary bubbled effect Consortium outsole.
