Unfortunately for Nike, the swoosh brand saw its athletic shoe sales fall with a 9.1% decrease compared to last year.
Adidas however, reported double digit gains with a hefty 24.2% rise in footwear sales than 2015. The Ultra Boost is now the industry’s best selling running shoe which has played a large contribution to this steep rise in profits.
