Last week, we gave you an on foot look at the Adidas Originals Superstar Xeno. The shoes in those images were shining, displaying the iridescent qualities of the shoe. As you may have already seen, the shoes only look this way when light is applied to them in a certain manner. The rest of the time, the shoe appear to have a much more matte finish, as you can see in these on foot shots of the pairs.
We wanted to give you another look at how these shoe look in natural light, to help you make your decision.
The shoes are inspired by the iridescent scales of the Xenopeltis snake found in Southeast Asia. With the flash of a camera or seen through the lens of a smart phone, the shoes explode into a spectrum of rainbow colours which change as the angle of the light shifts.
Their are two colourways in the Xeno collection, Black and Grey, and each pair has the iconic white shell toe sitting at the front of the shoe. Each shoe also sits on top of a white midsole and is finished off with a set of matching laces in either black or grey.
Adidas Originals Superstar Xeno Release Date
Both colours for the Adidas Superstar Xeno are scheduled to release on 1st September. You can find all the retailers for the Black pair here, and the Grey edition here. In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media pages for updates and released reminders for these exotic looking pair of kicks.
