Japanese based designers Yoshida Porter team up with Adidas Origianls to produce a collaborated version of the Stan Smith dubbed the Porter x Adidas Stan Smith Black. Over the years, we’ve seen loads of designers team up with the three-stripe brand and put their creativity to the test on one of the most iconic silhouettes in sneaker culture. Porter have collaborated with Adidas on the Stan Smith in the past, so should know what they’re working with. Let’s take a closer look at what we can expect from the pair…
The shoes are crafted with the same materials as used on Porters Tanker series. These include premium leather and luxurious suede panels. The sneakers are predominately black however feature a bright flash of orange on the insole and lining.
On the tongue, you’ll find an orange co-branded logo while embroidered Porter labels appear on both the footbeds.
The pair sit on top of a crisp white midsole and the look is finished off with a set of black laces and perforated three-stripes on the sidewalls.
