To celebrate the start of the upcoming U.S. Open Tennis Tournament, Nike honour a legend in the game by re-releasing the former world champion Pete Sampras’ signature model, the Nike Air Oscillate.
Originally released back in 1997, legend has it, Sampras wasn’t too impressed by the model when he first saw them. We’re not sure why! The crisp combination of the premium White leather upper with Black and Navy accents around the toe, tongue and heel look great.
Apparently it wasn’t until Tinker Hatifeld challenged Sampras to a game of basketball, the former world No.1 changed his mind after being given a pair to try out.
On the tongue you’ll find Nike Zoom Air branding while an embossed Swoosh sits on the outer-side of the midsole.
More branding is found on the heel of each shoe and the pair is finished off with a set of white laces.
