Even after putting 8 hours practice in the court, Kevin Durant still had more to give. Before he made it pro, Durant put the hours in to become one of the finest athletes and basketball players the world has ever seen. The Nike KD 8 series honours the 2014 MVP with a range of shoes, each meaning something special to the man himself. The series was kicked off with the Independence Day edition, which is his favourite holiday, before moving up to a supercharged V8 inspired pair.
Next up was the Sunrise edition of the Hunt’s Hill pack followed by the Suit version, which resembled the suit he wore during his infamous MVP speech last year. The Nike KD 8 Hunt’s Hill Night is the fifth instalment to the collection and pays tribute to the 25 times Durant used to run up the 75ft inclined hill nearby his home everyday.
The shoe is dressed in Night Silver, Deep Pewter, Tumbled Grey, and Green Glow colourway. The shoes are made to resemble the night time which Durant performed his gruelling runs up the hill.
