It’s a big year for ASICS. The Japanese brand are re-launching their ASICS Tiger brand, plus it’s the 25th anniversary of the first ever Gel Lyte III.

In this video shot in Australia, a special dinner is held to honour the man who design the Gel Lyte III, Shigeyuki Mitsui, where 21 lucky sneakerheads were invited to dine with the legend and enjoy a Japanese Menu and sake. Attendees also received a personal gift from Shigeyuki Mitsui.
