However we look at it, a blue colour scheme on a decent pair of kicks is second to none and more so when they come from Nike.
The Huarache silhouette is where the colour really delivers and as such Nike roll it out time and time again.
This new run though is strictly for the smaller footed generation or GS model as we have come to know it.
Nike Huarache Run GS “Chalk Blue/Bright Mango/Obsidian”
The sleek looking overlay in a pale Chalk Blue is uplifting and definitely one for the warmer summer months.
Synthetic leather offers a slight marbling look to the design similar to that of the recent black versions that dropped last month.
As with all Huarache GS models, the emphasis is on a trainer for kids more than smaller footed adults and this one follows that trend.
Tight rugged woven mesh ideal for the day to day antics of kids are what feature on this and all the other GS models.
Vibrant colours are another familiar aspect and trick out the lace section in a Bright Mango colour along with a central tongue strip.
The darker colour of Obsidian is what runs through the tongue and collar to break up the lighter Chalk Blue silhouette.
Bright Mango also appears on the heel cage and strap of the Huarache to deliver a wicked looking panel to the sneaker.
The white mid-sole unit along with a black cut away out-sole are common features for a GS edition but finish the shoe of nicely.
It seems that the next few months will deliver many new GS versions from Nike so in order to keep on top of them all follow our Twitter feeds.
