One of the all time classics from Adidas has received a modern makeover using innovative, lightweight materials. The Adidas Stan Smith Primeknit Black follows the recent collaborations with UNDFEATED, BAPE and Pharrell Williams and is set to release soon.
The silhouette is over 20 years old, but is showing no signs of slowing down. This new facelift sees the Superstar 80 constructed from innovative Primeknit which offers lightweight and breathability in equal measure. This is the same material used on the likes of the Yeezy 350 Boost and newest range of Tubular Runners.
This pair does however retain it’s usual shape and style and features a rubber shell toe and three stripes on the sidewall. The shoes are significantly lighter than their ancestors which offers something new to an OG silhouette.
