The UK loves a Bred colourway on a sneaker, regardless of the model they always prove successful.
So when we posted our piece on the Bred Huarache it proved a hit and created mass social chatter.
Now that we have a confirmed UK release date we are continuing our recent HD series with a detailed look at the upcoming silhouette.
Nike Air Huarache Run “Black/University Red/White” aka BRED
Already available stateside this Huarache silhouette decked out in a Nike namesake colourway has caused a stir.
Black and red are the common colours on the shoe which create the Bred name we all know.
The front of the shoe uses a very tightly woven mesh similar to that found on a GS Huarache. The shoe is dressed in a deep black colour which kicks off the style of the shoe.
Black is also the colour of choice for tongue/collar but with a University Red underlay visible through the perforated air holes.
A red laddered strip cuts through the black and runs up the lace section of the shoe.
Sitting above the blackout lace section and upon the tongue, we find a white logo patch with red text accents.
High resolution imagery provides us with an up close look at the University Red lining appearing behind the black overlay in a cut away design.
From this angle we can also see a synthetic suede overlay is the material of choice by Nike on this model.
Going back to the front of the shoe, we can see the black suede textile also in use on the toe box.
Combined with the tight mesh creates a rugged/tough appearance to the Huarache which is desirable in a men’s size run.
The Bred theme continues around the back of the shoe with a solid black heel cage/strap option.
A strikingly neat colour trio can also be seen from the rear. Running from top to bottom, the colours simply gel together perfectly.
The crisp white mid-sole unit is a perfect choice to show the AIR stamp in maximum effect.
The dye cut out-sole is standard to the Huarache and features in University Redcompleting the look of the shoe.
Although our label image shows a relatively small size, we can confirm that this will be a full size men’s edition.
As previously mentioned these are already available stateside via retailers such as FinishLine but the UK release is what we have been waiting for.
