Saucony continue the food inspired releases after the successful launch of their ice cream flavoured Scoops pack. This time, Saucony travel East to Japan and draw inspiration from the popular cuisine of sushi. Originally sold as streetfood in the 8th century, sushi has grown to world wide status and is renowned for its craftmanship as well as exquisite taste and freshness.
The pack consists of two models: the men’s Shadow 5000 and women’s Shadow Original. Each pair is dressed in sushi inspired colours drawn from wasabi, ginger and salmon.
Each pair have black accents reflecting the uses of the dark colours seaweed which often wraps many sushi delicacies.
The shoes were originally designed for performance back in the 80’s however now have a greater focus on comfort too.
