Superstar producer Pharrell Williams continues his fruitful relationship with Adidas Originals with this latest line up from the shell toe series. The Adidas x Pharrell Superstar Supershell Pack consists of 7 silhouettes, each adorned with a signature shell toe piece of art curated by the man himself.
Pharrell worked with one of his favourite artists Todd James, who’s creatvity is inspired by his experiences growing up around hip-hop and graffiti culture in New York City. James’ iconic style is represented on the toe of each pair of Supershell’s in graphic form or moulded art.
The series will consists of two colourways, four black models and three white. Each pair is constructed with either a suede or full grain leather upper. There are three graphic print shell toes depicting colourful graffiti-like artwork of flowers and anime. The other four shoes show off moulded artwork, each in attractive patterns or of small characters.
The moulded artwork Supershell’s will retail for £85 whereas the graphic print shell toe’s will sell for slightly cheaper at £67. The look is finished off with Pharrell’s signature reflexology map inspired insole.
