Many Huarache colourways have been a success story, whether it be the Pure Platinum or Scream Green to name a few.
However none come close to the Triple Black silhouette which has been sold out from release date including every restock.
The Triple Black was the front runner until now that is… with a Blackout version is confirmed and is up next in our HD series…
Nike Air Huarache Run Wmn’s “Black/Black/Black” aka BLACKOUT
First thing we will all notice is the title, and yes that is correct… these are a Women’s exclusive but fret not, as they should run to UK 9.5 meaning some men can cop too.
Very similar to its predecessor, the Blackout follows the same options on the mesh vamp and tongue/collar.
A flat rope lace section decked out in black sits upon the full black tongue tracing to the top of the shoe.
A black-on-black logo patch is what gives this shoe its nickname “Blackout” and is also the main difference from the men’s triple black which uses white.
Close up imagery on the overlay shows the only other difference between the models is the material in use.
While the men’s edition features a brushed suede overlay, the woman’s is a textured synthetic leather.
Clean looking from all angles, a frontal shot shows exactly how they will appear on foot and the ever important logo dressed entirely in black.
As you can imagine, the rear of the Huarache follows suit and features a black heel cage and strap.
The lining of the shoe also gets the blackout treatment, and if we’re honest it does make for a more sleek looking shoe to the men’s.
From the rear these could be easily mistaken for the men’s edition as there is no difference at all between the two.
Even the mid-sole and out-sole is in black which makes for a simple design for Nike to produce, but a statement piece at that.
As mentioned this run is purely a women’s sizing but that shouldn’t deter either gender from such an important colourway.
So whether you’re a Huarache fan or a Huarache purist, this first full black design will be a must along with the already release first full white editions.
