The Nike Air Huarache Light Grey Gum launched last week and is part of the three colourways to receive the gum treatment alongside navy, and yet to be released, black. We take an on foot look at this grey pair and see if the Huarache Light can rival it’s older brother silhouette, the Air Huarache…
The low profile sneakers are constructed from a grey microfibre material which feels as luxurious as it looks. The vamp is a different material and is instead cushioned mesh to provide added cushioning from the top of the foot. The TPU lace cage which wraps around the midfoot gives the shoe it’s instantly recognisable appearance and is coloured in a translucent grey.

The shoes sit on top of a gum outsole beneath a thick white midsole which has textured grooves running on it for an edgy look. White branding features on the tongue and a set of grey laces ties the look together.
