Nike release many hybrid trainers – especially with Air Jordan’s (most recently the Jordan 11Lab4’s), however this release is slightly different. These Jordan I/ Jordan II hybrids were originally worn by Michael Jordan for several games in between the releases of the Air Jordan I and II. These once near impossible to find sneakers will soon be available to all.
The shoe is a classic Air Jordan I with the addition of the sole from the Air Jordan II. Another unique feature is that on the Wings logo, instead of the usual ‘Air Jordan’, the embossed word is ‘NIKE’. This hybrid utilizes the classic ‘Chicago Bulls’ colourway, much like the recent release of the standard Air Jordan I ‘Chicago’ Retro – which was a highly coveted drop.
Due to the success of the recent Chicago Retro and the history behind this shoe, we think it will generate considerable hype and will not be the easiest to get your hands on. These sneakers are dropping 25th July, Saturday at 8:00 GMT, keep it locked here for the link to cop closer to the time.
