Last weekend, JD Sports opened the doors to its largest store to date in the prime location of Oxford Street. The store, measuring 34,000 sq ft, is focussed on delivering a unique customer experience rather than discounted items. Sport Direct operate just down the road from the new JD Sports store, but that’s not worrying the sportswear company that was founded in 1981.
The new store has creative visual props littered throughout the store that keep customers enthralled and incorporates technology to enhance the experience. The click and collect desk looks great and will certainly save time for customers in a rush.
In an effort to draw new customers and to showcase the new store, JD Sports are holding a virtual reality run around London’s famous landmarks. The event is in collaboration with Nike Zoom and if you head down today you can take part in the unique experience.
