German based designers Acronym team up with Nike to create the Nike Lunar Force 1 SP TZ x Acronym. This is the first collaboration between the two designers which aims to incorporate function and form into one beautiful silhouette.
The upper of the shoe is dressed in a dark black premium suede whereas on the heel, there is a patent leather strip. The German designers focus on technology and practicality and have included a solid metal YKK zipper to embody this concept.
The zipper acts as an alternative to the traditional lace system and still provides the same comfortable lock down fit we’ve come to expect from laces. The zipper also has a pull tab to make it easier to use.
The shoes sit on top of a thick white midsole with AIR embossed towards the heel. This is a truly unique shoe which would appeal to fashionable sneakerheads with an eye for something a little different this summer.
