Bodega from Boston team up with Adidas Consortium for their version of the sleek ZX Flux. The understated Adidas Consortium x Bodega ZX Flux is inspired by the blockbuster movie, 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick.
The pair is dressed in predominately black but is brought to life with the use of warm yellows, reds and oranges. The dark palette is said to represent the vast darkness of space.
The shoes are crafted from densely woven nylon and have an asymmetrical reflective panel covering the toe-box. On the tongue and heel, suede leather is used to add more variety to the silhouette. The contrast between the darkness of space and the white spaceship interior is reflected on the sneakers making for a strong and interesting pair of sneakers.
Adidas Consortium x Bodega ZX Flux Release Date
