Nike are renowned for making hybrid sneakers and one of their more popular silhouettes is the Nike Air Flight Huarache.
The shoe combines two massively successful sneakers to deliver a high top that resembles a Jordan or Dunk sneaker.
Nike have decided to add a premium to the shoe with their next offering.
Nike Air Flight Huarache “Wolf Grey/Wolf Grey” aka CROC
We all know that when a Flight Huarache is created, Nike replicate 2 silhouettes and in this case it’s the Flight Classic Grey and Huarache Wolf Grey.
This time though, a premium has been added to the shoe in a textured pattern to mimic crocodile skin.
The Huarache silhouette proves most dominant in the look and is highly accented with the Wolf Grey colourway throughout.
A mesh front on the shoe provides not only comfort and flexibility but also adds to the powerful look.
A neoprene lining is in use as usual but rather than a sock-like design, the Flight Huarache offers a bootie due to the height of the shoe.
Origins of the hybrid are shown on the tongue logo patch also decked in Wolf Grey paying homage to the Huarache.
The crocodile embossing features heavily on the overlay of the shoe and although it’s meant to replicate croc leather, it is in fact set in faux suede.
From the side we also see the heel cage/strap taken from the Huarache but also the chunky perforated mid-sole from the Flight.
An enclosed Air unit also adds to the Huarache influence but offers a sleek look along with the protection of a non-visible one.
Round the back of the silhouette we see the AIR text drawn from the counterpart of the 2 shoes.
The rigid out-sole finishes the shoe with ergonomically cut away designs not only for show but for added purpose.
A cool overall look will prove a hit and will not be out of place on any court or street upon release.
