Nike Sportswear celebrates Independence Day every year, and this year, we’re treated to the innovative Nike Air Force 1 Low Preserved Icons.
Inspired by the iconic Statue of Liberty, the Preserved Icons edition is one shoe, but with two colourways. When exposed to heat, the base colourway of Metallic Copper gradually transforms to a Patina Green, the same shade as Lady Liberty herself. The pair is finished off with starry insoles and metallic dubraes in the shape of the torch the Statue of Liberty holds.
The shoes sit on top of a thick white midsole which is typical of Air Force 1’s and the look is complete with a set of white laces and Patina Green tongue label.
