The Nike Kobe 10 Pain release date in coming up, and we take a closer look at the shoe inspired by Kobe’s struggles and hardships. The pair honours Kobe’s injury-filled seasons from 2013 to 2015 and also this story…
The shoe pays homage to Kobe after he broke his nose diving for ball during a match in his senior year. The following night, Kobe was determined to play again, and wore a protective mask to protect his nose. After a poor half, Kobe ditched the mask, and through the pain, finished the game with 39 points, helping his team progress to state.
This pair is dressed in a 3M, heat activated print which adorns the upper. A full mesh build covers the print overlays and red dots cover the entire base of the shoe. The pair are finished off with a semi-translucent outsole while the same Red color features on the Air unit.
