2015 is a year to remember for ASICS. The Japanese based brand is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Gel Lyte III and have released lots of colourways and collaborative projects to honour the monumental achievement.
London based sneaker retailer Foot Patrol have launched projects with Reebok, Adidas and New Balance, so know a thing or two about collaborations. This is their second time teaming up with ASICS, but their first on a Gel Lyte III.

A teaser video for the Foot Patrol x ASICS Gel Lyte III Squad has surfaced recently depicting a group of urban youths having fun, suggesting the pack honours precisely that… having fun with your friends and being a close knit squad. In the last scene of the video, a boy holds a gas mask, reflecting the logo of Foot Patrol.
As for the shoe itself, the pair are dressed in an Olive inspired colourway, crafted from premium suede. Perforations cover the toe box and sidewalls, behind the iconic black formstripes from the ASICS brand. Towards the heel is a gold embossed Foot Patrol logo and a split tongue finishes off the look to one stylish pair of kicks.
