The Air Epic from Nike isn’t the most popular silhouette from the brand, but that doesn’t mean it doesn’t look good. The Epic originally release 20 years ago in 1985 and gathered a huge fan based who were attracted to its clean, simple structure, comfort and timeless design. For this Quickstrike release, Nike are making the shoe available once more in two great colourways, Anthracite and Dark Sage. Let’s take a look…
The pair is crafted from a combination of breathable nylon mesh and suede overlays. Small cut out circles lie at the bottom of the laces which complement the perforated suede heel panel at the rear.
Each colourway sits on top of a white midsole and a contrasting black outsole. Each pair has regions around the ankle and tongue which are lighter and darker tones to add more character and style. A set of white laces finishes off this retro looking pair of vintage runners.
Nike Quickstrike Air Epic Release Date
Both colourways for the Nike Quickstrike Air Epic are scheduled to release tomorrow, 22nd August for £85. In the meantime, keep an eye on our social media pages for updates and release reminders for these retro runners.
