In 2002, a team of Nike engineers set out to study the natural motion of the foot in an effort to improve shoe design and comfort. After 8 years of research, the result was what we now know as the Nike Free sole unit. The flexible sole has been added to a line of Nike models to create a more flexible ride. This next football inspired shoe also incorporates this innovative Free technology.
The Nike Free Hypervenom 2 FS is constructed using flex grooves in the sole to enable the wearer to move more naturally. The pair is constructed from a mix of textile and neoprene and come in two colourways, Black and Gym Red. This use of synthetic materials makes the shoes very lightweight but also supportive.
Each pair sit on a white Phylon midsole which offers unparalleled cushioning to combine with the Nike Free 3.0 sole which sits below. Rubber pods on the outsole increase the shoe’s durability making them ideal for dynamic movements.
