With news of the Yeezy Boost 350 Black dominating the sneaker world, it’s nice to see a little bit of colour every now and again. Colour is what you get from Saucony this season with the Saucony Grid SD Freeze Pops. Available in two bright and colourful colourways, Red and Blue, these shoes breathe new life into the end of summer. Let’s take an on foot look at each pair and see which colour you fancy…
Are you a red or a blue? This is a question many Northerners hear regarding which football team they support, but the same applies with these fresh kicks from Saucony. Each pair sits on a crisp white midsole with a small black heel counter at the rear.
From here things get radically different in terms of colour. The entire upper is dressed in a monotone colour of either red or blue and feature the iconic circular Saucony branding on the sidewalls.
Perforated leather adorns the sidewalls while premium suede wraps around the lower half of the shoe. The look is finished off with branding on the tongue and ankle with a small section of 3M detailing on the heel.
