Flyknit is a material from Nike with is seamless and single-layered which provides a lighter, more comfortable ride. The innovative fabric is used across all Nike departments including running, football, basketball and sportswear. The fabric can change the look and performance of a silhouette while retaining some of the shoe’s classic features… case in point, the new Nike Air Force 1 Flyknit.
Images have recently surfaced of the most recogniseable basketball shoe of all time showcasing the Flyknit material across its upper. The shoes have a leather Swoosh logo and slimmed down ankle strap, dressed in the all-over white we all love. The upper of the Air Force 1 deviates from its traditional aesthetic and is instead adorned with the breathable fabric and Flywire cables. The pair sit on top of a white midsole and icy blue outsole.
