NikeLab first opened its doors in 2014. The idea behind mysterious department within Nike was to take current products and reinvent them into something innovative and modern, often looking like high-end fashion pieces.
The next product to come out of the lab is the NikeLab Free Inneva II. We are all familiar with the woven silhouette of the Inneva, so what have Nike done to shake things up with these kicks? Lets take a look at the first images which released earlier today.
The woven silhouette is constructed from Nylon webbing which is hand crafted to create a tight weave offering flexibility and stability.
The shoes are available in both black and white and sit on top of a Free 5.0 midsole for lightweight cushioning and flex grooves for natural motion.
In low light settings, you’ll notice the reflective yarn which has been woven into the toe box and heel, giving the shoe a special touch.
