Originally released in 1991, the Nike Air Mowabb OG became a cult classic silhouette which was designed by the man, the legend, Tinker Hatifeld. The shoe was later retroed in 2007 and won the hearts of sneakerheads and ACG lovers alike.
The shoe is built up from a combination of old school colours including purple, orange, and grey. This mix is very recogniseable as an OG colourway and it’s great to see this modern design staying true to its roots.
The silhouette takes design features from some of Hatfield’s other models, including the Air Huarache. You will probably be familiar with the black and orange heel strap at the rear of the shoe…
The pair are predominately white and are built from premium leather. A vivid blue works its way up the vamp and tongue which is then met with a contrasting orange around the ankle and ACG branding. The shoes sit on a speckled midsole and the look is finished of with a pair of white laces.
