It’s amazing to think that this year, Jordan Brand will be celebrating their 30th anniversary. The sneaker legend kicked off with the Air Jordan 1 silhouette back in 1985 and has continued to grow from strength to strength.
In this video, ThePostGame.com goes back to Laney High School in Wilmington North Carolina and visits the former high school of Michael Jordan.
To help celebrate the Jordan Brand entering its third decade, the brand recently renovated the gymnasium of Laney High School. The floors, walls and trophy cases all received a much needed face lift and the video shows us around the school where Jordan honed his skills.
In the video, former teachers and coaches are interviewed about their experience with His Airness and we learn that he was the star player even back then. This is a touching tribute from the Jordan Brand and we look forward to see more celebrations throughout the year.
