West coast ‘avantstreet’ lifestyle brand Stampd LA team up with PUMA for the first time to create the Stampd LA x Puma R698 Desert Storm. The LA based fashion brand, founded in 2011, excels in combining contemporary luxury with street-wear style.
This pair are constructed from a blend of premium suede and leather and feature perforated panels on the sides and toe box. The upper is dressed in a tonal grey and beige colourway which oozes style and sophistication. The sneaker sits on top of a cream and white midsole which brings the whole look together. Reflective 3M details are found on the heel, toe box, and tongue while a cracked earth pattern wraps around the heel. Stampd branding adorns the tongue, heel, and insole, where you’ll find a tan inner lining.
The R698 is the perfect silhouette to kick off this collaboration. The model was originally released in 1991 and considered the pinnacle in running performance and style. Stampd can stamp their contemporary style on this 14 year old silhouette and do what they do best.
