Nike What The KD VII SE asymmetry at its finest

The Nike What The KD VII SE is set to release on 20th June in true “What The” style. For those who don’t know about the “What The” series from Nike, the range launched back in 2007 and aimed to differentiate themselves from a competitive market. To do this, the new range featured silhouettes that would take design elements from several other sneakers, and smash them together to create a brand new “What The” silhouette. Each pair in the series seem to be more chaotic and colourful than the last, making you say “What the …?!”

The collage of patterns and colours inspires the range including this latest in the line-up, the KD VII SE. The shoe’s upper is constructed from a combination of patchwork, materials and colours, meaning the left and right shoe don’t match. Each shoe is unique and this asymmetry appeals to many creative sneakerheads. This pair also includes subtle glow in the dark accents which are placed throughout the upper.
