Legendary skate brand Vans collaborate with creative Japanese artist Takahashi Murakami for the Vans x Takahashi Murakami Collection.
The limited edition collection will consist of a range of shoes, tee-shirts and a duo of skate decks. Each item in the collection is adorned with Murakami’s signature playful anime-inspired motifs of flowers and skulls.
Murakami’s ‘bold designs inspired by animé, manga, pop culture and traditional art from his home Japan caught the attention of Vans, and we’re happy to see the pair working together.
One of Vans most popular silhouettes has been chosen to the project, the Classic Slip-On LX. In two creative styles, skulls and flowers cover the upper of each shoe in the collection sat on the iconic thick fresh white midsole.
Vans x Takahashi Murakami Collection Release Date
