The latest sneakers to come out of Nike laboratory are the NikeLab Roshe Cortez.

The story of this silhouette begins way back in 1960’s when Nike was formerly known at Blue Ribbon Sports. The Nike Cortez was designed by running enthusiast and track coach Bill Bowerman who used feedback from his pupils to construct an ideal running shoe.  10 years later, Blue Ribbon Sports became Nike and the rest, as they say, is history.

This redesigned silhouette is a hybrid, combining the iconic style of the original Cortez with the modern technology and comfort of Roshe One. There are two colourways available, the original ‘Forest Gump’ white, red and blue or an equally attractive black and white pair.

Each pair has an upgraded leather heel tab, rubber toe guard, and a vintage-treated tongue to give it that classic appeal.

The shoes insole pays homage to its humble beginnings with a classic BRS logo.
