We take a closer look at the latest installment to Kyrie Irving’s line, the patriotic Nike Kyrie 1 USA.
Even though the man himself was born in Australia (but only lived there 2 years), the shoe’s pay tribute to the United States of America with a red, white and blue inspired colourway. As Independence day draws closer, more and more silhouettes are appearing to pay homage to July 4th.
The shoe’s dominant colour is a royal blue which serves as a base for the silhouette. Subtle red and white stripes are found underneath the fused overlay to give a great effect. There is £D detailing wrapping around the heel in the form of small pyramids to give the shoe a little more distinction. A metallic silver swoosh adorns each sidewall while hints of red add a sharp level of vibrancy to the outsole and inner lining.
