With this latest release just around the corner, we take an on foot look at the upcoming Adidas Tubular Runner Prime Knit. This is the same material used on the recent Adidas Originals Yeezy Boost 350.

Adidas released this innovative range back in 2014 and proved very popular among sneakerheads the world over. The Tubular model impressed many with its snug and comfortable fitted upper and ultra durable midsole inspired by car tyres. The Prime Knit upper is dressed in black and dark grey in a pattern not unsimilar to snakeskin.

This time, they take the silhouette one step further by constructing it from lightweight Prime Knit. An elastic supportive strap reaches up the sidewalls and links to the laces for midfoot stability.

The shoes sit on top of the signature thick white midsole which provides excellent cushioning underfoot. Adidas branding features on the tongue pull in white and the look is finished off with black round laces.

This Prime Knit edition of the Tubular Runner will also be released in a Stone colourway. This lighter version may appeal to other sneakerheads, but it’s is good to have the option for both.
