Following yesterday’s look at the NikeLab Roshe Cortez, here we have some on foot shots to show how the pair look on your feet.
This latest iteration from Nike combines past design with present day innovation, resulting in a fantastic hybrid sneaker. The iconic Cortez silhouette has been selected as the canvas which has been remodeled using the natural motion outsole used on the Roshe One.
This two-pair pack pay homage to Blue Ribbon Sports, founded in the 1960’s by Phil Knight and legendary track coach Bill Bowerman, which later became Nike in 1970’s.
Both the Black and White pairs in the pack feature a full leather upper with a vintage treated tongue and leather heel tab. On the insole you’ll find the classic Blue Ribbon Sports logo, a subtle nod to the brand’s humble roots.
As you can see from these on foot shots, the pair look great and you’ll be hard pushed to find a better casual sneaker. The shoes can either be dressed up or down depending on the occasion and are the perfect staple of any sneakerhead’s wardrobe this summer.
