Synthetic leather is the preferred material for the Nike Air Huarache model for the last few years now.
Being durable and available in an endless amount of colours, we can see why Nike use it so often.
Suede however is a premium material rarely used on the Huarache silhouette.
Wmns Air Huarache Run PRM “Metallic Silver/Sunset Glow/Green/Punch”
An exciting new Huarache colourway drafted in a completely brushed suede overlay is what we have here.
Using a light grey/beige as the base colour for the overlay this silhouette creates a subtle look.
A neat combination is what appeals to us and using an OG mesh on the vamp against a non-leather textile makes just that.
Metallic silver is the colour of choice for the vamp and gives a shimmer effect to the front of the shoe.
The tongue and collar uses a dark silver hue initially, hidden behind the lace section decked out in matching light grey to the overlay.
A logo patch is where we get our first splash of colour in the form of Sunset Glow and green.
A neoprene sock lining also uses Sunset Glow as its colourway and is a clearly visible unit beyond the suede overlay.
Creating gold tones, this lining proves similar to that used in the Bronzine editions, except a lighter shade creating the relatively new colour.
From the side, we get a look at the heel cage that blends seamlessly with the overlay of the same colour.
We also get a glimpse at the white mid-sole offering a lift to the upper of this Huarache silhouette.
The silver look continues around the back of the shoe on the collar where it accents the golden tones of the lining.
A true precious metal look is what this duo of colours deliver with them being next to one another.
Another of Nike’s house colours dresses the strap in a pastel summer feel.
Punch being the choice of colour, it offers a peach look as opposed to the vibrant sister colour of Hyper Punch.
Similarities to recent models also appear on the out-sole of the shoe.
A light gum sole, almost clear in colour, uses a hint of punch and green to add to the PRM namesake.
Wmns Air Huarache Run PRM “Metallic Silver/Sunset Glow/Green/Punch” is yet another Asia exclusive and the production run has already ceased.
Fear not though, as all that means is allocations are now being made to different countries including the UK/EU.
