Hate them or love them? Nike KD VII EXT Tartan & Polka Dots

Nike KD VII EXT Tartan & Polka Dots

Those of you with OCD better look away now. The latest edition Kevin Durant’s signature shoe is dressed in to juxtaposing patterns, that surprisingly, in our opinion, go well together. Some of you may think the combination of Tartan and Polka Dots on a pair of kicks is downright ridiculous, but it takes something a little unusual to produce something brilliant.

Take the Yeezy Boost as an example. Upon release, the shoes didn’t received the best response, with many calling them glorified Ugg’s. Now time has past, hater’s views have changed and people can now recognise the shoes for what they are – innovative.

The same applies to this model. Tartan flannel covers the toe region and midfoot with a subtle, almost invisible swoosh laid over the top. Towards the heel, the style is switched up and features a grey polka dot fabric wrapping around the heel. The inner lining is made up of a pinstripe blue material and the shoes sit on a black midsole and ice gum outsole.

These shoes are going to be like Marmite. You’ll either love them or hate them. We suggest not jumping to conclusions too quickly, as you may regret your initial judgement when you see someone fly wearing them with style.

Nike KD VII EXT Tartan & Polka Dots Release Date
